Batman: Arkham games are undoubtedly some of the best superhero games ever created and it is no wonder people get hyped up at the mere mention of a possible announcement of a new game in the series.
Warner Bros sparked the hype with the where they posted a gif that showed the Bat-signal but was interrupted several times by ominous symbols. Fans interpreted the symbols as signs pointing to the Court of Owls, a shadowy organisation that was intricately connected to Batman from even before the birth of Bruce Wayne.
WB continued with a second tweet, one day later, being featured more prominently. To pour some oil into the fire, a leaker posted a tweet simply branded "" which could potentially be the name of the next game in the series. WabiSabi, the leaker in question, followed up with another tweet, stating that the claim about bat family being playable in this title seems to be legitimate.
Then, on 27 November 2019, reported that a new Batman game would be revealed in December 2019, courtesy of a leaker with a reputation for being reliable. It appears that the inside source confirmed the Arkham Legacy name and the reveal will happen on Friday, 13 December 2019, during The Game Awards show.
Considering the 80th anniversary just passed by and The Game Awards is the most hyped gaming show remaining in 2019, that will also reveal two big titles exclusively, it is hard to imagine Arkham Legacy will not pop up along the way.
