Once again, reliable insider Dusk Golem has confirmed that Resident Evil 4 is indeed in development at Capcom but it will take a while before the studio decide to reveal it.
Capcom have hit the nail on the head with their critically acclaimed Resident Evil 2 Remake but players were not overly impressed with the sequel - Resident Evil 3.
However, the game is still a massive success for the publisher and no wonder they are looking to release another full remake.
And while many players would love to see a remake of Resident Evil - Code: Veronica, it seems Capcom have other plans. According to reliable insider Dusk Golem, who previously revealed info about Resident Evil 2 and 3, Capcom are currently working on Resident Evil 4 Remake.
To be honest, Resident Evil 4 is probably one of the most, if not the most popular game in the series so it does not come as a surprise that the Japanese publisher want to deliver a next-gen version of Leon's horror adventure.
And while the game is indeed in the works, Dusk Golem states that those who are waiting for a reveal in 2020, will end up being disappointed.
"RE4 Remake is happening. RE4 Remake will not be shown this year," Dusk Golem wrote in a tweet.
It is possible that Capcom announce the game sometime in early 2021, shorty after the release of Resident Evil 8, which was announced at Sony PS5 event recently.
One thing is for certain though, we'll have to wait a little bit more to hear about Resident Evil 4 Remake.
