Beloved Resident Evil protagonist Jill Valentine could have a major role in Resident Evil: Outrage (Revelations) or Resident Evil 9, according to reliable leaker Dusk Golem.
Resident Evil Village has been a massive success for Capcom, selling over 4.5 million copies from launch until July 2021. The horror franchise is certainly one of Capcom's most successful titles and it's not surprising that the devs are always working on the new Resident Evil game.
One of the upcoming titles is the rumoured remake of the iconic Resident Evil 4 but it's also safe to assume that Capcom have already started working on the next major Resident Evil game, which could be another Revelations title.
And according to reliable Resident Evil insider Dusk Golem, Jill Valentine could be returning to the series in this next Resident Evil game. Dusk Golem states that Jill Valentine will have a prominent role in either Resident Evil: Outrage which is the rumoured Revelations title or Resident Evil 9, which would be the sequel to Village.
The fans of Jill will certainly be happy to hear the news. The beloved protagonists has not prominent appeared in a Resident Evil game for a long long time.
As always with rumours and leaks, we suggest you take this with a grain of salt. Capcom are yet to officially announce the next Resident Evil game but that will probably change soon since the rumours suggest Resident Evil 4 Remake could be launching late 2022 or early 2023.
