Insomniac Games' upcoming action-adventure Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will run at dynamic 4K resolution and targets 60 FPS for the performance mode.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, one of the upcoming PlayStation 5 titles now has it's page over on PlayStation Store with a couple of interesting new details. On the store page, it is noted that Insomniac's action-adventure will run at dynamic 4K resolution and support HDR.

Judging by the official description, the game won't run at native 4K, which may disappoint those who plan to get PlayStation 5 but we doubt you'll notice a huge difference since resolution upscaling techniques are almost as good as the real thing.

The description on the store page also confirms that the game will have optional Performance Mode which targets 60 FPS as revealed earlier by the developers.

"Displayed in crisp, dynamic 4K and HDR, behold dazzling in-game worlds as you work to save the universe. Enjoy Performance Mode to experience a targeted 60fps frame rate as you encounter new enemies across multiple dimensions," it's written in the description.

As you may know, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will also feature ray-tracing, which is one of the biggest features of next-generation consoles, both Xbox Series X from Microsoft and Sony's PlayStation 5.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is currently in development and still does not have a release date. It's coming exclusively to PS5.
