PlayStation 5 exclusive Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart is finally set to release on June 11, 2021, Sony and Insomniac officially announced with a new, gorgeous trailer.
Insomniac Games, the developer of this highly-anticipated action-adventure, have thanked the fans for their support across the four generations of PlayStation consoles and confirmed the release date.
"All of us at Insomniac Games say thank you for your support of Ratchet & Clank across the last 19 years and four generations of PlayStation consoles. It’s been an incredible journey so far and we’re excited to share the next chapter with you soon."
The release date for the game has been set for June 11, 2021. Hopefully, this will be the one and only release date for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart but it would not surprise us if Insomniac's title becomes another long-awaited title that gets delayed.

Yes, that's two fan-favourites that will be making their way into Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for players who pre-order. The Carbonox armour from Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (2003) is now updated with high-definition materials, lighting responses, and ray-traced reflections. Players who pre-order will also receive an early-unlock of the Pixelizer weapon, the retro-blaster from Ratchet & Clank (2016), also updated visually for the PS5 console.
