PUBG Mobile is getting a hefty chunk of content with the new Arena map, called Town, along with the new Domination mode, Arena Training map and the new Light Snowmobile vehicle. All of these should go live on 9 January 2020.

Players of PUBG Mobile should have a decent refresh of things to do in their favourite game through the new additions. The new map, Town, is tied to the also new Domination mode. As the name suggests, it is the mode seen in pretty much every other shooter but then again, it is one of the most popular modes and should therefore not be dissed.

It appears that Domination in PUBG Mobile will have much shorter matches though as capturing the points will not count toward a score limit but rather the victory outright. The first team to grab two out of three points will win the game, no score necessary. There will be Super Weapon Crates that will become available to the players in case the tug of war hits a block. These should give the team that equipped them an edge and an easier victory.

Besides adding the new map and mode, the developers are putting in the long-requested firearm training mode. It will be placed on the old Warehouse map which will be restored and converted into Arena Training map. Players will be able to pick up any weapon from the ground and practice with it.

Another bit of new content in the latest PUBG Mobile update is the Light Snowmobile which will be exclusive to Vikendi, as you probably guessed by now. It can hold up to two people and it's faster than the original Snowmobile but more prone to getting destroyed.

Furthermore, the Royale Pass will be improved with the new multi-option missions in Team Arena and Payload Mode and they will offer more rewards.
