Playtonic Friends hyped up an announcement set for Xbox indie showcase on March 26, leading many Banjo-Kazooie fans to think something is up but it ended up being the full version of Demon Turf.
Demon Turf: Trials by Fabraz is possibly one of the overlooked games on Steam that sits at 88 per cent positive reviews but never really developed a massive following. One thing to keep in mind here is that this is just the demo of Demon Turf, the game that is yet to be released on both PC and consoles.
Playtonic Friends, who are the publishers Fabraz partnered with, now announced the title would be coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch at some point during 2021.
PlayStation 4/5 players will apparently not be getting the game yet but those who probably found themselves at the biggest loss are Banjo-Kazooie fans.
At this point, you must be asking yourself what kind of connection could there be between BK and this brand new 2D/3D platformer, right? Well, the hype was kicked off due to a series of events that looked like a Banjo-Kazooie announcement in the making .
This was not meant to be, however, and the old school fans will not get a new entry in their favourite platformer series just yet.
As for the actual announcement in question, Demon Turf will have you play as Beebz in an attempt to overcome various 3D and not-so-3D obstacles in a bid to reclaim various turfs in the demon world. The name of the game is rather self-explanatory, now that I think of it.
