Haven studio who are currently working on a PlayStation exclusive multiplayer game have been officially acquired by Sony.
Haven have officially joined the PlayStation Studios family, it's been announced by Sony and Haven studio head, Jade Raymond.
Haven are currently working on a PlayStation exclusive multiplayer title and will be sharing more details when the game is ready. Raymond says the team have already made big progress, describing the game as an experience that will keep players engaged for years to come. So, yes, it is a live service title, something that was missing in Sony's first-party offering.

Head of PlayStation Studios Hermen Hulst says that Sony started working with Haven in early 2021 when they were on the brink of announcing the formation of the studio. He added that Sony are confident in Haven's approach and vision for the new exclusive IP.
So when exactly are we going to see the first game from Haven? At the moment, no one knows. We don't even know if the game will be coming out anytime soon since we haven't seen it yet. It's possible that we get a trailer later this year at the PlayStation showcase but that is just speculation at the moment.
If it happens that the Haven Studios game is shown this year, then perhaps it's safe to assume it will be released sometime next year. But as already mentioned, there is no official info from PlayStation regarding the reveal date of this multiplayer title.
