PGA Tour 2K21 has received a new trailer that brings back one of the cinema bad guys that is guaranteed to make you think about golf - Shooter McGavin, a.k.a the bad guy from Happy Gilmore.
Regardless of whether you're a golf fan in real life or in gaming, you had to have seen Adam Sandler's movie Happy Gilmore, where a wannabe hockey player tries his luck in the world of golf. If you haven't, you owe it to yourself to watch it, not least for the prototypical arrogant bad guy portrayed by Christopher McDonald.
Anyway, he's not alone in the trailer, and we probably should've led with Justin Thomas, who's on the cover of PGA Tour 2021, but in our defence - Shooter McGavin is slightly more fun to watch.
As for the rest of actual roster in PGA Tour 2K 21, 2K Games secured the appearances of additional twelve PGA Tour pros, and they're:
- Cameron Champ
- Bryson DeChambeau a.k.a. "The Scientist"
- Matt Kuchar a.k.a "Kuch"
- Kevin Kisner a.k.a "Kiz"
- Gary Woodland a.k.a "G-Dub"
- Billy Horschel a.k.a "Billy Ho"
- Ian Poulter a.k.a "The Postman"
- Tony Finau a.k.a "Big Tone"
- Jim Furyk a.k.a "Mr. 58"
- Sergio Garcia
- Patrick Cantlay
"What happens when Justin Thomas, Christopher McDonald, SchoolBoyQ and The Miz get together for a round of PGA TOUR 2K21? A whole lotta swingin'... and a whole lotta shoutin'", 2K wrote in the description.
PGA Tour 2K21 launches on August 21, 2020, so fans won't have to wait much longer. We still wish they'd add Shooter to the roster, but we'll take it.
