Atlus has revealed the English voice cast for five central characters in Persona 4 Revival, the remake of Persona 4 Golden which is set to arrive on 18 February 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, with Game Pass on day one.
Who is playing who
The new lineup is led by Nazeeh Tarsha as the silent-ish protagonist, the second-year transfer student who moves to Inaba to live with his uncle. Paul Castro Jr. takes Yosuke Hanamura, the group's upbeat strategist. Anne Yatco voices Chie Satonaka, described as warm, lively and driven by a strong sense of justice. Brianna Knickerbocker plays the reliable but slightly spacey Yukiko Amagi, heir to the family inn. Ari Thrash rounds things off as Marie, the aloof newcomer who drifts in and out of town.
- Protagonist - Nazeeh Tarsha
- Yosuke Hanamura - Paul Castro Jr.
- Chie Satonaka - Anne Yatco
- Yukiko Amagi - Brianna Knickerbocker
- Marie - Ari Thrash
Worth flagging for longtime fans: this is an entirely new English cast rather than a return of the performers many grew up with. Atlus is clearly treating Revival as a clean slate, much as it did with the music and other elements, and recasting on this scale will certainly split a fanbase as devoted as Persona's. Whether the new performances win people over is the obvious thing to watch once gameplay clips with full dialogue surface.
A dedicated broadcast lands next week
There is more on the way almost immediately. Atlus is running a Persona 4 Revival broadcast on 18 June, hosted by P-Studio director Kazuhisa Wada, promising a deeper look at the mystery waiting in Inaba. It airs on the ATLUS West YouTube channel at 4pm PT. UK viewers should set expectations for the small hours, as that converts to roughly midnight going into 19 June BST.
