Persona 5 developer, Atlus now has a UK chart-topper for the first time ever.
Along with the honour of being the most successful Persona release in the UK, Persona 5 is also the first JRPG to top the sales chart since PlayStation exclusive Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, did so in 2013.
The game's predecessor, Persona 4 Golden launched for PlayStation Vita in February of 2013.
Persona 5 has already shipped 1.5 million copies.
Even with its Denuvo updated, ME: Andromeda still fell pretty far down the top ten, and ended up at number five.
The patch fixing a couple of grievances the player community had with the game, apparently didn't help much.
The fact that the game launched with an already cracked version of Denuvo which was quickly exploited, only added fuel to the fire eating away at Andromeda's ranking.
Second spot on the sales chart still belongs to Ghost Reckon: Wildlands. The third place is still occupied by Lego Worlds, making Persona 5 the only fresh entry in the top three.
Grand Theft Auto V went up in sales last week, and now sits at number four, instead of last week's number five.
FIFA 17 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild have both seen an increase in sales, enough to bump each game up by one spot.
Another entirely new addition to the list, besides Persona 5, is Lego City Undercover. The game launched on Friday 07 April, and made a debut on the sales chart at the eight place.
Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare shifted from number ten up to number nine, and Overwatch cracked the top ten moving up from number fourteen to the tenth spot.
The top 10 looks like this:
1. Persona 5
2. Ghost Reckon: Wildlands
3. Lego Worlds
4. Grand Theft Auto V
5. Mass Effect: Andromeda
6. FIFA 17
7. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
8. Lego City Undercover
9. Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare
10. Overwatch
