Grinding Gear Games announced that they will announce information about the next Path of Exile and offer more info about the sequel in a stream that is coming next month.
Path of Exile's next expansion will have more info on April 8, 2021, when the developers will reveal more about it through a live stream. The show will commence at 1:00 PM PDT/ 8:00 PM GMT.
As for what to expect, Grinding Gear Games stated that the show will revolve about the next expansion, which will be released on April 16, 2021, at 1:00 PM PDT / 8:00 PM GMT.
Other than that, the devs didn't reveal much about the expansion except a few gameplay snippets that were shown in the trailer that you can check out below.
However, the did note that there will be another look at Path of Exile 2, for the first time since the ExileCon where it was announced. Considering that Covid-19 ruined everything for everyone, there was no info and no gameplay videos for a long time.
It's safe to assume the ramifications of having to move to the work from home routine had an impact on the development but then again, GGG are located in New Zealand, which should significantly decrease the problems with the pandemic.
Whatever the case, the devs are ready to show us more of what can be expected in the sequel and that will happen during the same event on April 8, 2021, so make sure to tune into their Twitch stream .
