Are you ready for the shortage of yet another GPU? It seems like Nvidia and partners are.

Nvidia GeForce posted a teaser on their official Twitter account recently, hinting at some sort of reveal on January 4, 2022. The broadcast event will happen at 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM EDT / 4:00 PM BST / 5:00 PM CET. Fans who are not in the loop are pretty stoked right now but pretty much everything that can be revealed has already leaked.

The broadcast will reveal the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, a monstrosity of a GPU, which will be quickly devoured by other monsters, namely - scalpers. Before they buy up all seven of the GPUs, however, let's get into the specs.

Just like the regular 3090, the Ti version will feature 24 GB of DDR6X RAM but it will be the first GeForce GPU to get over 1TB/s memory bandwidth. You want to go crazy with all 4K goodies? This is the card for you.

All hype aside, this is about a five per cent increase over 3090 but it comes with a pretty hot drawback. The card's TDP will be 450W , a whole 100W increase over the 3090 so you might also need a new PSU.

RTX 3090 Ti MSRP didn't leak yet it seems so the broadcast will still have some exciting info to announce. That said, you might want to focus on the prices set by scalpers, which are still a few months away.
