Amazon Game Studios announced they will start the Springtide Bloom event in New World on April 26 and it will go on for almost a month, ending on May 23, 2023.
Just like the other seasonal events, this one will involve collecting a seasonal currency, called Wispy Wasp Goo, which can be exchanged for Tokens, which are then exchanged for rewards.
Major cities have centrepieces that can be interacted with daily to acquire:
- Diamond Gypsum
- Drop Rate: 100% (must be Level 60)
- Limit: 6 per day.
- 1-3 Wispy Spritz
- Drop Rate: 100%
- 25 Event Reputation
- Drop Rate: 100%
- 1-5 additional Wispy Spritz
- Drop Rate: 100%
- 1-3 Dyes
- Drop Rate: 66%
- Springtide Dram
- Drop Rate: 33%
- Temporarily increases Luck.
- Springtide Wafer
- Drop Rate: 22%
- Temporarily increases the number of Wispyblooms that players can harvest.
- Springtide Crumble
- Drop Rate: 11%
- Temporarily increases Constitution
Springtide villages will pop up in four maps so keep an eye out for new icons there. In each village, there will be a pile of bags in the middle, which can be looted daily for:
- Springtide Token
- Drop Rate: 100%
- Springtide Pattern
- Drop Rate: 1.3%
- Springtide Coinbag
- Drop Rate: 100%
- 50 Event Reputation
- Drop Rate: 100%
Harvesting Prismablooms can yield up to 10 event tokens and one premium event token.
Players will have the opportunity to exchange the tokens for valuable items in Bloom Herald's shop, which can be found in the villages.
Viridian Attire Set will not be available at the beginning of the event but AGS noted they are looking to enable it again as soon as possible but that is dependant on them finding the cause of the associated bug and fixing it.
