Metro Redux - Deep Silver's first-person shooter has found its way onto Nintendo Switch. The double game collection comes fully loaded with the definitive editions of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light.
The Switch version of Metro Redux also includes all DLC content on the 16GB cartridge.
The critically acclaimed series' Switch edition was developed over the course of 8 months in house by 4A Games. The developers have noted that the game runs without glitches at native 720p in handheld mode and 1080p when docked. All this while maintaining solid 30 fps.
Fans who get the Switch version of Metro Redux will be given a choice between the two classic playstyles: "Spartan" and "Survival". These will allow the players to approach the campaign in two different styles.
Those who pick "Survival" will experience a survival horror style of Metro Redux and those who choose the way of the "Spartan" will progress through the game with the combat skills of a Spartan Ranger.

The game's story begins in 2013 when the world was ravaged by an apocalyptic event, obliterating almost all mankind and turning the earth’s surface into a toxic wasteland. A few survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilization entered a new Dark Age.
Fast forward to 2033 and the Metro Station-Cities are fighting for survival - among each other and against the mutants. The game casts you into the role of Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but raised underground.
Having never ventured beyond the city limits, one fateful event will send you on a hero's journey to the heart of the Metro system.
