This pooled resource is increased by the conflicts (specifically sieges) going on around China, the actions of all factions will contribute to this not just your own.

Tao Qian also gets access to two new units - Territorial Spearmen and Territorial Archers. These units are available for recruitment and also appear in his settlements and garrisons, allowing him to better defend his territory. Both these units receive combat bonuses when they are on the defending side in a battle.

On top of these additions, four existing characters are being upgraded to legendary characters. Lu Zhi, Huangfu Song, Diao Chan, and Xun Yu will appear with unique artwork in campaign and battles and are also accessible in custom and multiplayer battles.

The update also brings new battle features such as Defensive Towers, Wooden Stakes and Deployable Oil and you can read about these and many other features in .
