Marvel's Iron Man VR is the latest game to be delayed during the last couple of days. Camouflaj - the developer studio - shared the news via their Twitter account. The VR game was revealed in a short trailer back in March 2019.
Marvel's Iron Man VR is the latest in an avalanche of games to be delayed during the last couple of days. A recent tweet on the game developer's account shared the announcement:
"In order to deliver on our vision and meet the high expectations of our amazing community, we’ve made the difficult decision to move Marvel’s Iron Man VR to a May 15, 2020 release. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
You’ll be hearing from us again soon!"
Camouflaj's Iron Man VR game was revealed in a short trailer back in March 2019 and, until today, the release date was set for 28 February 2020.
The game's trailer, shown at Sony's State of Play, showed Tony Stark flying in his luxurious jet and being blown into pieces before switching to the actual gameplay footage.
According to the official description provided along with the trailer, Marvel's Iron Man VR will allow players to upgrade the tech in Tony Stark's garage and customise Iron Man's suit as well as his abilities. Much like the man himself has done so many times.
The new release date for Marvel's Iron Man is 15 May 2020.
The news comes mere days after Marvel's Avengers got delayed to 4 September 2020. The same fate has befallen Final Fantasy 7 Remake as the title has also been shifted back a month from its original launch date of 3 March 2020.
The most talked-about delay this week was that of Cyberpunk 2077 . CD Projekt Red subsequently had a Q&A with their shareholders during which the developer confirmed that their mysterious AAA title is actually Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer .
