Sony's PlayStation Support page now features a post informing the fans that they will automatically receive a refund for digital copies of The Last of Us Part II and Marvel's Iron Man VR and to check their email for more information.
Sony have officially confirmed that, since The Last of Us Part II and Marvel's Iron Man VR have recently been indefinitely delayed, the company will be giving out full refunds to everyone who pre-ordered either game digitally.
Sony's official PlayStation Support webpage currently says that all refunds will be handled automatically and there is no need for anyone to contact support to get it. If you happen to be among those who pre-ordered The Last of Us Part II or Marvel's Iron Man VR, you can expect an email that will fill you in on all relevant details.
After the news of delay broke for both games, the first ones to go were the pre-order buttons, but now, the entire The Last of Us Part II and Marvel's Iron Man VR pages are nowhere to be found.
The hopes of playing Marvel's Iron Man VR anytime soon were first dampened back in January 2020 when the game developer shared the announcement that they are moving the release date to 15 May 2020. The upcoming title was delayed indefinitely on 2 April 2020.
The Last of Us Part 2 developer Naughty Dog said they are "looking at different options to get the game out as soon as possible", but said a demo is not likely to happen.
