If you were excited to play Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra this year, developer Skydance Interactive have some bad news, their action adventure has been pushed to early 2026.
The team simply stated that they need more time to polish the game and give players the best possible experience when Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra launches on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
Here's the announcement from Skydance:
"We have an important update: MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra will now be launching in early 2026. Taking this additional time will allow us to add more polish and make sure we give you the best possible experience, and one that lives up to our vision. We have some exciting things in store and look forward to sharing more soon!
As you can see, the team also stated that they have plenty of exciting things in store, hinting at new reveals and details this summer at one of the big gaming showcases.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will be published by Plaion and it follows Captain America and Black Panther who must form an alliance to stop the rise of Hydra.

In the chaos of war, worlds collide. Captain America and Azzuri, the Black Panther of the 1940s, must overcome their differences and form an uneasy alliance to confront their common enemy. Fighting alongside Gabriel Jones of the Howling Commandos, and Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied Paris, they must join forces to stop a sinister plot that threatens to turn the havoc of WWII into the ultimate rise of Hydra.
