There's a certain third-party AAA first-person shooter that is highly likely to be launching in Game Pass this Fall, said Nick Baker aka Shpeshal Ed on the latest episode of the XboxEra podcast.
With the introduction of Square Enix's looter shooter Outriders and Sony San Diego Studio's baseball simulation MLB The Show 21 to Game Pass, Xbox and Microsoft have the momentum on their side and it looks like they are just starting with big announcements.
It's safe to say that by the end of the year, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be getting a ton of big games but day-one third-party releases on the popular subscription service are a completely different story and the one that Xbox could be pushing aggressively in the coming years.
According to the latest rumours, Xbox Game Pass could add another major AAA release later this year. Nick Baker aka Shpeshal Ed, who is an Xbox and industry insider claims that there's a third-party shooter that is highly likely to launch on Game Pass this fall.
"There's a certain third-party AAA first-person shooter that is highly likely to be launching in Game Pass this Fall," Baker said on the latest episode of the XboxEra podcast (1:19:00).
The XboxEra hosts then speculated what game this could be, mentioning Battlefield, Call of Duty and Back for Blood but since these are just rumblings and not an actual leak or insider info, we suggest you pretend you didn't even read the names of these three titles.
Our guess would be Rainbow Six Quarantine but again, this is just speculation and guesswork as nothing is confirmed nor teased by reliable sources.
