Riot Games has been introducing features to enhance the gameplay and foster a thriving metagame in League of Legends. As part of this ongoing process, they have discontinued support for older systems and operating software to focus on a unified version of the client, facilitating improvements.
One of the steps taken in this direction is the revival of the Blue Essence Emporium, where they have implemented technical improvements to optimize the feature. Since the Emporium was unavailable for a significant period, many players have accumulated a stockpile of Champion shards.
Understanding that the process of disenchanting shards can be tedious, Riot is introducing a Multi-Disenchant Feature to expedite the Essence acquisition process.
The Multi-Disenchant feature explained
With Multi-Disenchant, you'll have the power to convert up to 50 shards into precious Essence all at once. The button will be conveniently located on the bottom left of the Loot tab, making the process swift and efficient. Just two clicks, and you'll collect all the Essence from the selected 50 shards.
Riot BarackProbama, also known as Jordan Checkman, shared that they've put a lot of effort into creating this system to handle the millions of requests it's likely to receive upon release. Players often accumulate numerous shards, making this feature highly anticipated and heavily utilized.
Rest assured, Riot has worked diligently to ensure the client can handle the high demand for this new feature.
Expect to see it in action with the release of Patch 13.17 on August 30, 2023, alongside the long-awaited return of the Blue Essence Emporium.
