The Arena 2v2v2v2 mode in League of Legends has its own ranking system, which we will explore in this article.

Similar to other competitive games, League of Legends features a ladder system that determines a player's skill level. In the ranked mode, players participate in placement matches and receive a rank based on their skill level. They can then increase their rank by winning games or be demoted by losing games.

The ranking system in League of Legends consists of ten tiers: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger. Each tier is further divided into divisions, such as Silver 4 to Silver 1. To climb the ladder, players must win matches and earn LP (League Points).

Arena mode is a unique game mode in League of Legends that combines elements from both League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics. It deviates from the traditional MOBA gameplay and offers a more casual experience while still featuring a competitive ladder and rank system.

In the Arena mode, the ranking system draws inspiration from TFT's Hyper Roll system. Unlike the traditional rank system, there are no divisions, and LP is replaced by points. Players earn points by winning games, and accumulating enough points allows them to progress to the next tier.

Currently, there are five tiers in the Arena mode:

  • Wood
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Gladiator

To advance through these tiers, players need to win matches and achieve a high placement, preferably in the top two. Finishing in the bottom two results in a loss of points. The ranking system operates on a point-based system without promotional series.

In summary, the Arena 2v2v2v2 mode in League of Legends features a ranking system that is separate from the traditional ranked mode. It consists of five tiers, with players earning points based on their performance in matches to progress through the ranks.
