An overlooked part of the League of Legends patch 12.14 is found in a single line of the Behavioral systems> it's one that is bound to strain some friendships for sure.

League of Legends is a game that defines toxicity in the gaming community currently. And the way Riot Games  try to fight that is with the Honor System, though the most recent change is questionable.

In patch 12.14 , Riot Games made a small change to the behavioral systems that has some  indirect, consequences for the game's community:

"You will now be able to see which teammates honored you if you hover over the honor icon in the end of game screen. ".

Up until now, Honoring allies has been anonymous, and you could only guess who gave you the honor after the game. Now, that anonymity is stripped off, and the toxicity will have an even better opportunity to shine.

After all, the League of Legends Honor System offers players various rewards for going through its progression, by accumulating post-game honors, and now you'll know who didn't think you deserving of one.

And, while the post-game lobby is a place that players leave as quickly as possible after a match, barring some exceptions when a game gets especially heated, the same cannot be said of premade queues.

It's premade queues that will bear the brunt of this change, especially the ones that were created by meeting players on the Rift, and not knowing them that well. After all, even when we don't on our best showing, we expect our friends to back us up, don't we?
