Well, with the turn of the year, leaks have been coming in about one of the first skin lines for 2025 - Mythmaker 2025. This exciting collection seems to continue the tradition of Riot Games celebrating the Lunar New Year with in-game content.
Lunar New Year is celebrated across countries like China to mark the beginning of the lunar calendar. Riot has, over the years, embraced the event by releasing thematic skins on League of Legends since 2011.
Some of the successful skin lines in the previous year are Warring Kingdoms, Lunar Wraith, Firecracker, and Shan Hai Scrolls. Mythmaker Series, which was first teased in the Lunar Revel 2023 to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, is returning.
Mythmaker 2025 skins
Skins for Mythmaker 2025 will be based on snakes, as this is the Year of the Snake.
The following skins have been revealed through leaks:
- Mythmaker Jhin
- Mythmaker Jarvan IV
- Mythmaker Nami
- Prestige Mythmaker Cassiopeia
Interestingly, a skin for Sett was designed and in the works to join this lineup but was reworked into the upcoming Radiant Serpent Sett skin.
Although Riot Games had not confirmed an official releasing date, these skins are expected to arrive before lunar new year, which takes place on January 29, 2025, this year.
Fans can take a guess that it may be available in the weeks right before the celebration. The Mythmaker 2025 collection promises to add yet another beautiful chapter to Riot's colorful history of culturally driven skins that players enjoy during Lunar New Year celebrations.
