There’s a chance we could see K/DA back in League of Legends sooner rather than later. A new leak suggests Riot will be releasing new music from the group, alongside a completely new collection of skins during Season 3 of 2026.
The news comes after Riot laid relatively quiet following K/DA’s All Out event. Interest in K/DA music and skins waned as Riot instead focused efforts on other initiatives such as Heartsteel.
K/DA has been quiet for months, but they could be returning to the spotlight later this year. False rumours have circulated on more than one occasion, so it’s worth taking leaks like this with a grain of salt until they’re officially confirmed by Riot.
We don’t know which champions will be featured just yet, but previous collections have focused on Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa. Seraphine was added to the group for All Out. It’s no coincidence players are theorizing one of League’s remaining women will be joining K/DA this season.
K/DA returning for Season 3 of 2026 also matches up with a mystery tweet we saw from the League of Legends Brazil Twitter account earlier this year.
On Jan. 2026, the official account posted a series of images showcasing past K/DA promotions.
Theories immediately flew around suggesting Riot was preparing K/DA’s return, without making any direct indication that it was happening. But if we factor this in with the current leak, it’s looking likely something is going on behind the scenes.
Should K/DA return it wouldn’t be surprising to see Riot go all out like they have in years past. New skins from the group have typically been packaged with new music, cinematic music videos, splash arts, in-game events, and themed content across multiple Riot games like TFT and Wild Rift.
We still don’t have any official confirmation on these rumours. It’s always possible plans could change between now and when they would supposedly release on the PBE. But with Season 3 content expected to drop on the PBE in the coming weeks, we should learn more soon.
