Riot has announced the brand new Founders skin line for League of Legends that revives four of the oldest and rarest cosmetics in the game with a fresh coat of paint. Players will remember these skins fondly since they're releasing alongside League Classic, a mode reminiscent of playing League back in 2009.
Fans will be treated to Founders Goth Annie, Founders Black Alistar, Founders Silver Kayle, and Founders King Rammus. Each of these skins are based off Collector's Edition and beta-only skins from way back when, but won't just be released from stores—these are all newly redesigned skins.

Riot hasn’t officially announced a release date for them yet. It’s assumed they will release alongside League Classic, which was announced on June 26. We’ll likely learn more on July 11 during MSI 2026 Finals when Riot plans to announce a date and rewards you’ll earn for completing League Classic.

Riot hasn’t revealed how much the skins will cost. The latest datamining indicates that players won’t be able to purchase them individually for RP, and instead they will be earned as you progress through League Classic.
Additionally, League Classic is rumored to have its own battle pass, token rewards, and shop. This leads us to believe players will be unlocking cosmetics through one (or more) of those outlets.
How To Get League of Legends Founders Skins
As far as we know, you’ll be able to get the skins by playing League Classic. Since it’ll be featured inside the League client as a Featured Game Mode, there won’t be a separate download for players to access it.
We should learn more about exact requirements to unlock them, pricing, and a release date during MSI 2026 Finals on July 11. For now, the Founders skins are some of the biggest nostalgia we know is coming to League of Legends.
