League of Legends - Janna is Getting a VFX Update in Patch 12.19

Janna is one of the oldest League of Legends champions in the game. Seeing as she has received an update to her gameplay early in the year, now she's getting an update to her looks.

VFX updates are done, by Riot Games , to upgrade overall gameplay consistency, readability, and graphics quality, all while elevating League of Legends champions’ thematics and resonance.

VFX updates don't concern themselves with the balance of a champion, nor how often they get played. Instead, they make small changes to the champion's visual appearance, to bring it to more modern standards.

This means that the base Janna model, along with all of her skins, is getting an update:

Base Janna: Complete Overhaul
Tempest Janna: Same as base
Hextech Janna: Complete Overhaul
Frost Queen Janna: Complete Overhaul
Victorious Janna: Complete Overhaul
Forecast Janna: Complete Overhaul

League of Legends - Syndra is Getting a Mini Rework

Janna is, quite obviously, going to become a much more relevant champion soon. After all, her win rate has been high for the entire year, and with her looks improving, everyone will want to get a piece of that. It's just sad that her new looks won't be in Worlds 2022.
