After the smoke has cleared, launch-day jitters have worn off and integrity has seeped back in through pocket holes, it's time to patch Kingdom Come: Deliverance's shortcomings out of existence. Warhorse Studios say they're looking at 'Save and Exit' mechanics, adding respec potion, mini game tweaks, bug fixes, etc.
Hotfix 1.2.5 claims to have fixed "some of the worst bugs" in the game but with it pending certification we'll see soon enough. The fix will address occasionally unresponsive R2 button when in combat, as well as graphics issues in Hans Capo.
Warhorse said patch v1.3 is in the pipes already, even though it's still in its infant stage. So, small pipes? It does seem however like it may be the most comprehensive one yet, with devs reportedly sifting through tons of reports and streams hunting them bugs.
The devs revealed they're looking, and mind you only looking at 'save and exit' mechanisms, without giving any promises. Now I may be wrong, but with the community already having churned out mods that took care of this, doesn't it seem like a waste of valuable development time? Oh right, consoles.
Also mentioned in 1.3 are improvements and tweaks to lock picking and pickpocket mini games. Warhorse is adding the Alchemy recipe for respec potion as well. Of course, there will be a mandatory host of bug fixes, many of them being quest related.
As it stands though, a number of players couldn't make sense of confusing patch numbers, prompting Warhorse to deliver an official clarification. Namely, different teams have been working on different platforms and since time was of the essence here, games were rushed to certification immediately upon completion.
Interestingly enough, the company's PC patchmen reigned supreme and managed to roll out the v.1.2 to Steam before the deadline for the so called Day 1 patch , v1.1 has passed. PC. Supreme.
