Warhorse Studios are celebrating quite the milestone for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and thanks to the game hitting 3 million units sold, all Steam users get a free weekend.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance has managed to hit 3 million, while its DLC packages sold 1.5 million across the globe.
To celebrate, Warhorse are making the game free from June 18-22, 2020, on Steam, and if you haven't tried it yet, you owe it to yourself not to miss this gem.
Okay, you got me - a huge fan here, but nevertheless, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a singleplayer RPG that you don't want to miss, doubly so if you're normally a fan of the genre.
The story follows Henry, son of a blacksmith, who's trying to find his way in the world after a Hungarian army's raid on his village leaves him an orphan and alone.
As for the gameplay, Kingdom Come: Deliverance has a lot to offer, especially when it comes to combat. Specific weapons require specific fighting styles and it's not about grinding - it's about skill, regardless of whether your armour is specced out or not.
Warhorse really went all out in ensuring realistic combat, so not all weapons and armour are perfect for every situation. Heavy armour will make you less mobile; two-handed weapons mean no shield, and so on.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance lets you play any way you want. You can turn Henry into a thieving rapscallion that picks pockets and locks all day long, or go the honourable route and turn him into an all-out knight with an impeccable reputation - it all depends on the choices you make in-game.
