Infinity Ward have officially revealed the logo of this year's Call of Duty game, which will be Modern Warfare 2.
After many speculations and rumours, Infinity Ward have today officially revealed the first piece of information for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, which is this year's Call of Duty game.
The developer revealed the official logo, which features stylised "MW" letters with two green rectangles making the number roman number 2. It's very minimalistic and sleek with classic colours and we're sure that many Call of Duty fans will like it.
Other than the logo, the team did not share any additional details but given how they've started with teasing and releasing info, it should not take long before we see the first trailer and gameplay. Such a big reveal could be coming in May 2022, according to various insiders but until we get an official confirmation, take that with a grain of salt, just like any other rumour or leak.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare II will be a direct sequel to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare from 2019. According to insiders, it's focused on Colombian drug cartel wars and will feature iconic Call of Duty Modern Warfare characters such as Captain Price, Soap, Roach and Ghost.
Details about the story are still pretty scare but we kinda know what to expect from Call of Duty these days - a lot of action, explosions but at the same time some very realistic and grounded missions.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is expected to launch in late 2022 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
