Hood: Outlaws & Legends has received a gameplay trailer for one of its characters, The Brawler, whose name is every bit representative of his in-game combat style.
The Brawler's gameplay trailer is voiced by director Andrew Willans, who quickly reminds players that the class is what you get when a blacksmith exchanges his tools for weapons of war.
"A master of melee combat, the Brawler excels at holding defensive lines, creating new paths for allies, and of course, team fights. His powerful weapon is capable of wide sweeps to clear groups of enemies, overhead attacks to instant-kill unarmored targets, and a sprint attack which knocks nearby targets off their feet", the description reads.
Hood: Outlaws & Legends also grants its classes flagship abilities, which in Brawler's case is Wrath. Wrath calls on the class' bestial fury, amping up his physical strength and durability, and granting him infinite stamina. The latter, as you may imagine, comes in really handy when you need to chase down any stragglers.
As the game director suggests, the only way to take down a berserk Brawler quickly, and it goes without saying that you better do it quickly, is to use an explosive, or putting a precise arrow between his eyes.
Speaking of explosives, Hood: Outlaws & Legends' Brawler also carries explosive grenades, which will come in handy when enemies are out of reach for his, ahem, close-quarters expertise.
Last but certainly not least is Brawler's capability to lift the gates and hold them open for his teammates. This skill turns priceless the moment alarms are sounded during your missions, but can also be used tactically when trying to outsmart other teams.
