IO Interactive have announced that solution for bringing Hitman 1 and 2 unlocks and levels from Steam version to Hitman 3 on Epic Games Store is due to arrive later this month.
PC hitmen will finally get to transfer their levels and progress from Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 over to the latest instalment of Agent 47's adventures.
Shortly after the game's release, IO Interactive confirmed that they still plan to allow PC players to import levels from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3, but due to the exclusivity for the Epic Games Store, the task did not prove easy.
Fortunately, the developer announced that at the end of the current month, PC players will be able to import their progress and levels from previous sequels into the new game:
“Whilst we’ve been busy launching HITMAN 3, we’ve also been working on the promised solution for allowing PC players to import locations that they already own into HITMAN 3 on Epic. We’ve got that solution worked out and it’s currently being tested and verified from all angles to make it as robust as possible. In terms of timing, it’s definitely a case of sooner rather than later. Even with the longest estimates we’ve looked at, the solution will be fully rolled out before the end of February.”
The eighth instalment in the Hitman series, developed and published by IO Interactive is available as of January 20 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia and Nintendo Switch. Check out the Hitman 3's February content roadmap here .
