Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have officially revealed Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival - a brand-new single-player survival horror game based on the legendary horror franchise.
Coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, this marks the first time the Hellraiser universe is being adapted into a video game, with horror master Clive Barker actively involved in the project.
The reveal also confirms the long-awaited return of Doug Bradley as the iconic Cenobite leader, Pinhead, nearly 20 years since he last portrayed the character on screen.
Hellraiser: Revival details
Saber describe Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival as a story-driven, survival horror action experience that plunges players into the nightmarish world of Hellraiser. Players will step into the role of Aidan, a man desperately trying to rescue his girlfriend from a terrifying underworld ruled by Pinhead and his followers. Central to the gameplay is the Genesis Configuration - a mysterious puzzle box that grants the player infernal abilities at a deadly cost.
You’ll face cultists, grotesque creatures, and the Cenobites themselves in a horrifying battle for survival. True to Barker’s vision, the game balances psychological torment with brutal, flesh-rending combat.
“The dedication that Saber and Boss Team Games have shown is nothing short of remarkable. They’ve immersed themselves in the Hellraiser universe, capturing its essence - the seductive pull of suffering, the beauty within the grotesque" said Clive Barker, who has helped shape the game’s original story.
“I’m eager for both the curious and the damned to experience this new chapter in the Hellraiser mythos.”
