Highly-anticipated bundle of Halo games titled Halo: Master Chief Collection is just around the corner now and today, we finally have the official download size on PC. The download size has been revealed on the Microsoft Store and the game is taking up a total of 24.94 GB.
If you're wondering why the download size is so small given that the bundle includes six games (Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo 4, and Halo: Reach), well, this is the download size of only one game - Halo: Reach.
The collection starts with Reach and the rest of the games will be added afterwards so this is not the final size, expect it to increase greatly over time as more titles are added. It will probably end up being close or even bigger than 100 GB.
Halo: Master Chief Collection will officially launch on 03 December 2019 for PC. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass on PC so if you're already subscribed, you get to try it for "free".
If you're unfamiliar with the collection, it brings all of the biggest Halo titles with their campaigns, DLC content and of course, multiplayer experience. All games also support 4K for crispy clear visuals and 60 FPS for smooth gameplay. On top of this, there's support for ultrawide monitors, the field of view option and adaptive sync support. It's safe to say that it's one of the biggest Halo releases ever on PC.
