Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer has confirmed that he feels pretty confident about Halo Infinite's release date. Spencer said the game is certainly launching this Holiday and the firm decision is "down to few weeks".
Halo Infinite had another appearance at the recent Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase but surprisingly, Microsoft did not reveal the release date, even though we're only four to five months away from the already confirmed "Holiday 2021" release window.
However, there is no reason to panic as the game is currently on schedule to release this year. Head of Xbox Phil Spencer reassured fans that Halo Infinite is set to launch this Holiday 2021. He stated that the developer 343 Industries and himself are pretty confident there won't be another delay.
Speaking to Dropped Frames podcast, Spencer said the following:
"Yeah absolutely [releasing this year]. We know our three-four week range but we don't have yet the exact date. There are some other things with some other game timings that we're trying to look at. We'll have better clarity over the summer but this isn't a months thing, this is down to few weeks so instead of picking this date and having to move it by a week, which at this point would feel like a fail, let's wait until we're really solid on what the date is."
We never really doubted that Halo Infinite is indeed launching this Holiday but for those of you that needed confirmation, the man himself has made it clear that it's only a matter of time before we get the exact date, which will be sometime during the Holiday season 2021.
Our guess is the month of December.
