Sony's racing simulator, Gran Turismo 7, will receive five new cars in an update set to be released next week for both Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 versions of the game.
While the specific date of the update launch remains unannounced, the series producer Kazunori Yamauchi posted a tweet yesterday (December 10, 2022) revealing that the update is coming Next week.
It is previously confirmed on Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo concept for Gran Turismo 7 that Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo will arrive on December 15, 2022, for those who answered the Viewers Gift Campaign quiz correctly. We can only speculate about the other four cars, but based on the image teaser posted in the tweet , we might already have the answer.
The four cars that will probably be included in the latest Gran Turismo 7 update are Chevrolet Corvette C8, Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205 Rally Car, Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAM and Bugatti Chiron. Keep in mind these cars are not officially confirmed by Sony , only personal conclusions based on a Twitter post. Anyway, we will know for sure when the official update comes to our Playstation consoles. Until then, drive safely and speed only in video games, not in a real life.
In the last big patch for Gran Turismo 7 released on November 24, 2022, Sony added three new cars: Ford Sierra RS 500 Cosworth '87, Nissan Silvia K'S Aero '96, and BMW M2 Competition '18.
The base game launched on March 4, 2022, and since then it is getting updates on monthly bases. Aside from technical corrections and bug fixes in every patch, Sony is regularly adding new content such as new cars, new world racing events, new tickets, new GT Café Extra Books and tons of other content. This game seems to be very important to Sony, judging by the amount of content it gets.
