The Alighieri Circle: Dante's Bloodline is coming to PC and consoles on September 10

ONE O ONE GAMES' psychological mystery thriller which draws inspiration from Dante's Divine Comedy arrives on Steam, Epic Games, GOG, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X with a Switch 2 version following later this year.

Spanish publisher Entalto Publishing and Italian develop One O One Games have announced that their first-person psychological mystery thriller, The Alighieri Circle: Dante's Bloodline, is launching on September 10, 2026 on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is coming later in the year.

The game will be localised into nine languages, with a price of €19.50 / $19.99, with a 10% launch discount running for the first two weeks after publishing.

A modern take on Dante's Divine Comedy

It doesn't take long to figure out what The Alighieri Circle is based on, as the name itself points towards Dante's Divine Comedy, an Italian narrative poem. The premise of the game is built around a recurring supernatural event: every 33 years, the barrier that stands between our reality and Hell weakens. The player steps into the shoes of Gabriele Alighieri, who needs to return to his ancestral home in order to perform a ritual he has been avoiding his whole life, a ritual which will protect his family and the world from whatever waits on the other side.

Dante's Bloodline is a story-driven adventure, rooted in psychological horror rather than action, looking at Dante's hell as an internal journey, and not a place which is filled with monsters and horrors.

"When most people think of Dante or Dante's Inferno, they imagine something very concrete: monsters, demons, action. But when I read the Divine Comedy, I didn't see an action story; I saw a person going through an inner journey. That became our central idea: Hell is internal." Emanuele Miccianza, Creative Director

The players will navigate converging spaces, gather collectibles and diary pages from the Alighieri family villa, but also dive into distorted reflections and explore new places. Gathering the lost pages of the Divine Comedy and deciphering esoteric riddles which are tied to Gabriele's fears, trauma, and family history will be crucial in uncovering the tragic history of the bloodline and the forgotten memories of Gabriele's past.

What to expect at launch

The September 10 launch will cover PC and current-gen consoles, with a Switch 2 port coming later in the year. Given that there is a $19.99 price tag and also a two-week discount window, Dante's Bloodline seems to fit the scope of a focused, story-first indie thriller.

There is a Steam demo already available for anyone who wants to get a taste of what's coming.
