GOG are having a "Play before the year ends" sale. The sale includes games that you will be able to finish in a couple of hours and some that will take you a bit longer. The titles we've picked out check-in below the 3-hour mark.

With 2019 on its way out and the holidays in full swing, hardly anyone has the time to sit around playing video games for hours on end (as much as we'd love to). With this in mind, we found a nice list of short games that are currently on sale over on GOG .

These titles won't cost you hours upon hours of gameplay to finish but still pack quite a punch.

What Remains of Edith Finch

Created by Giant Sparrow, the first walking simulator on GOG's list is an enchanting game about the unlucky members of the Finch family. As Edith, the player explores her home and along the way discovers what happened to the girl's relatives.

What Remains of Edith Finch takes on average 2 hours and 30 minutes to beat. The game is currently 60 per cent off and will run you ₤6.09.

Gone Home

Another walking sim that lets you explore the protagonist's house. This time after she returns from her year abroad. You'll be tasked with figuring out what happened to the family by discovering clues hidden around the seemingly normal house.

Gone Home takes on average 2 hours and 20 minutes to beat. The game is now 80 per cent off which brings its price down to ₤2.28.

Donut County

If physics-based puzzle games are more your speed, GOG has you covered with Donut County. The game puts you in the role of a hole and the objective is to devour an entire county. You can explore, swallow stuff to grow and combine the things you've consumed.

Donut County is 50 per cent off. It costs ₤4.95 and two hours of your time.

Mi'pu'mi Games The Lion's Song The Lion's Song

The Lion's Song

There are many more games on offer . The sale will end on 2 January 2020.
