Playground Games confirmed that Forza Horizon 5 will have the weekly weather/seasons change feature that was introduced in Forza Horizon 4.
One of the biggest Xbox exclusives of 2021, Forza Horizon 5, will be launching very soon and as we get closer to the release date, the developer Playground Games have been sharing a lot of new details about the game and some of the features that will be there on launch.
In the latest blog post over on the Forza website , Playground Games mentioned seasons and weather changes will work in Forza Horizon 5. As you may know, in Forza Horizon 4, seasons switched on a weekly basis so we got to experience all four seasons during the month.
Playground decided to keep this system in Forza Horizon 5 so there won't be any changes to how seasons work, at least not in terms of weather changes. "Seasons still change every week and with that, so will the weather and the world around you," the devs confirmed.
Of course, the season changes won't be as substantial as those in Forza Horizon 4 since we're in Mexico now where it doesn't snow and the climate is much warmer than in the rainy UK.
But despite this, the devs promise changes to the map - there will be floods during the spring season which can block some roads and we also got to chase some massive storms.
All in all, Forza Horizon 5 certainly looks exciting and we cannot wait to finally get our hands on the game later this year.
Forza Horizon 5 launches on November 5, 2021, for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
