Fortnite is rebranding to Fortnite: Chapter 2 soon apparently, as a slew of leaks confirmed both the name change and the new map.
Epic Games are having a hard time keeping a tight lid on Fortnite's future content, which is only natural since everyone wants to know what one of the most popular games in the world holds in store for them.
Fortnite Season 11 will apparently not be just another season but a fresh start for the game since it will bear the name Fortnite: Chapter 2. The leak is in Italian, as the tweet in question shows an image of a video start where the headline "Fortnite: Capitolo 2" is clearly visible. Capitolo means chapter in Italian so the name is all but officially confirmed at this point.
One interesting takeaway from the Chapter 2 image is the portrayal of the watery areas where we can see that boats are cruising over the river beds. Following planes, mechs, carts and whatnot, it is not surprising that Epic are adding driveable boats but it wasn't entirely expected either.
Furthermore, it is quite obvious that the map is brand new and while some elements look familiar, it remains to be seen if any sections of the old map will remain in the game. Who knows, maybe it will be the current map that just underwent some major changes.
The news is sure to excite Fortnite fans who are anticipating The End event which will occur on Sunday, 13 October 2019 so make sure you don't miss out on Fortnite history, provided you are invested enough.
