We have another hat-trick this week, ladies and gentlemen. Fifa 18 is at the top of the UK sales charts for the third week in a row. This week, we have some new entries at numbers two and three as well as at number 15.
Fifa 18 is still at number one even though Middle Earth: Shadow of War launched fresh last week. A similar story happened back in 2014, when Fifa 15 beat Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor to number one. Middle Earth: Shadow of War debuted at number two this week. Warner Bros now have a total of three titles in the top 10 with Lego Worlds at number nine and last week’s release The Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame at number 10.
The Evil Within 2 debuted at number three - not bad at all considering the game launched on Friday the 13th. Due to the new releases that now sit at numbers two and three, Forza Motorsport 7 fell to number four, and brought with it Forza Horizon 3, which settled for number five.
Destiny 2 is now out of the top five for the first time since it launched. The game's latest Prestige Raids mode will launch on 18 October without a permanent fix for the newly discovered exploit.
Grand Theft Auto V found itself all the way down at number seven this week. Is this the end of its reign? Probably not, but I have been wrong before. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is holding on to the top 10. The marsupial ended last week at number eight.
