The Mortal Kombat series is no stranger to welcoming various guest characters and one of the major talking points at the moment regarding the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 is the DLC character roster, which will be introduced via Kombat Packs, after the game releases.
In the latest round of rumours, some insiders who previously revealed accurate Mortal Kombat 1 leaks, state that one of the most iconic video game characters of all time will be coming to Mortal Kombat 1.
It's Bethesda's legendary Doomslayer, the main protagonist of the Doom franchise. This would not be the first guest appearance of Doomslayer in other titles, as the demon-slaying hero was featured in Fortnite and Quake Champions.
Doomslayer would certainly be a perfect candidate for a Mortal Kombat game as he's quite brutal and possesses a rich arsenal of weapons including the latest ones like the Crucible sword, which would certainly come in handy against veteran ninjas like Scorpion or Sub-Zero.
Obviously, you should take these rumours with a grain of salt as this is not official information so don't get all excited until we get a confirmation from NetherRealm or Warner Bros.
So far, we got a couple of announcements for Mortal Kombat 1's guest characters, which include Homelander, Peacemaker, and Omni-Man. These are really interesting choices for the first Kombat Pack and we cannot wait to see what else the dev team have in store in terms of guest characters.
