EA and Codemasters have shared another Deep Dive video for F1 23, revealing a bunch of new details about the game's story mode called Braking Point.
F1 23 is just around the corner and today we got more details about the game's expanded story mode called Braking Point 2 thanks to the latest deep dive video from EA and Codemasters .
The video gives us a look at everything that we can expect from Braking Point 2 in terms of plot, characters, progression and more. But if you don't feel like watching it, here's a written breakdown of Braking Point 2.
F1 23 Braking Point 2 details
- Spans 2022 and 2023 F1 seasons
- A new team called Konnersport
- Aiden Jackson and Devon Butler are back
- New character Kali Layham, a hot prospect from F2
- New cinematic cutscenes with massively improved visuals
- Performance and Reputation systems that change based on your actions on and off the track
- Press responses and management decisions can trigger different objectives
- Completing or failing these objectives can have an impact on the story
And that's pretty much everything we know about Braking Point 2 at the moment. Hopefully, EA and Codemasters will obviously share more details about this mode as we get closer to launch since it's unclear how many playable drivers are in the game.
Overall, Braking Point 2 does look like a proper upgrade over Braking Point, which was pretty great on its own. We are certainly excited to give it a spin once F1 23 is out.
F1 23 is hitting the shelves on June 16, 2023, for PC , PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 , Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S .
