Major updates were released for EA Sports F1 24 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, both of which have been designed to really push the power of newly launched PlayStation 5 Pro, bringing further visual and performance options to these two leading titles.
This update brings to F1 24 really stunning 8K visuals and advanced Ray Tracing, setting viewers right in the middle of probably the most realistic F1 racing experience ever.
It's also a first for an EA title that supports 8K resolution at 60Hz on next-generation consoles. F1 24 features three different graphical settings, each catering to specific tastes: 4K Quality Mode, featuring Ray Traced effects; 120Hz Performance Mode for ultra-smooth gameplay; and an 8K Resolution Mode for exceptional clarity. Now available across PS5 Pro, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, F1 24 has leant players in even closer to the thrill of the track.
Similarly, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has optimized the game to really push the PS5 Pro to full capacity. It looks even better now with new visuals and increased base resolutions both in Quality and Performance modes.
In Quality Mode, for instance, players get upscaled 4K resolution with added ray-traced elements from 1800p to 2160p, quite a visual leap.
Even Performance Mode gets a bump up in resolution to 1800p, while packing with enhanced effects like proper ray-traced reflections and occlusion. This mode still remains capped at a target 60fps frame rate for more fluid action sequences.
These updates bring F1 24 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to the market, setting a higher bar than ever before in gaming for players eager to see what new things the PlayStation 5 Pro is capable of. Both are available now for anyone looking for the latest in console performance and graphical fidelity.
