Embark Studios confirmed that Arc Raiders is set to launch this October

Following the recent beta tests, the excitement for Embark Studios' extraction shooter ARC Raiders is through the roof, but the official release date is coming soon.

If you're one of those players who got absolutely blown away by Arc Raiders in the recent beta tests, Embark Studios just dropped some sweet news that we've been waiting for. Their extraction shooter is officially set to launch on October 30, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Embark confirmed the news with a new cinematic trailer at the Summer Game Fest show.

For some, four months is a long waiting period for such an exciting new shooter but it gives Embark plenty of time to improve some of the aspects of the game that needed improving like stash size, character customisation and more.

The studio is aiming high with Arc Raiders, which could become the next big thing in the extraction shooters space so the launch really needs to be as smooth as possible and these four months should allow Embark to achieve that.

It's been a long wait since that first announcement and genre switch but Arc Raiders is almost here now

The only thing that could pose a problem is the inevitable launch of Call of Duty, which always happens around October too but since Arc Raiders is a different kind of shooter, it probably won't get overshadowed by this year's COD.
