It looks like Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco are starting to tease the potential announcement, that could be coming very soon. This is according to Bandai Namco Europe Instagram profile, which recently appeared on social media.

UPDATE: The Instagram account is reportedly fake and a result of a hacker attack by someone with a Russian email address. The link on the Bandai Namco website now leads to an official Bandai Namco Instagram profile.

Original story: FromSoftware's next action RPG, Elden Ring, is one of the most anticipated games of 2020/21 but ever since the official reveal at E3 2019, the Japanese developer did not release a single trailer for the game. Some rumours suggested that the game was delayed at least two times internally but FromSoftware never commented on the matter.

And as we wait to hear more about the game, it looks like Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco are starting to tease some sort of announcement. Over on the official Elden Ring page on Bandai Namco's website there's a social media channels section where an Instagram profile of the publisher is listed.

Once you click on the link, it will lead you to Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe profile, which has been created only recently, judging by the number of followers and posted images. Now, here's the interesting part.

The profile features three images, of Elden Ring banner, which say "Elden Ring news soon". Could this be a start of a promo campaign for Elden Ring or just a mistake on Bandai Namco's end? Well, it's hard to say really but the profile seems legit since it's linked on the official Bandai Namco website.

Earlier reports suggested that Elden Ring is set to release in 2021 and if that is really the case, then it's possible that the marketing campaign for the game is indeed finally starting. However, don't get your hopes up just yet, since this could be a mistake or an early tease.

We have contacted Bandai Namco for clarification and will update the article if we get an official comment on the matter.
