A closed beta build of EA's rebranded football simulation title, EA Sports FC, has appeared online on the Xbox Store backend. The beta client size is 41.57 GB on Xbox Series X|S consoles and 39.23 GB on Xbox One according to reliable Microsoft leaker Aggiornamenti Lumia, who discovered these builds.
This is also a confirmation that EA Sports FC will be launching on last generations consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in addition to PC and current-gen release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
EA are yet to officially unveil EA Sports FC but that could change very soon as FIFA games are uaually revealed in the month of July and with the beta build being uploaded to serivers, it's safe to assume that the announcement trailer is coming in no time.
So far, we only got the official game logo and a bunch of marketing buzzwords claiming how EA Sports FC will revolutionise football simulation on PC and consoles. Additionally, EA promised over 19,000 fully licensed players, 700 teams and 30 leagues.
Other than that, it's all very mysterious so that official announcement with fresh details on gameplay, editions, release date and more couldn't come soon enough.
EA Sports FC does not have a release date at the moment, but it's safe to say that the game will be launching sometime later this year. Our guess would be late September as that's usually the time of the year when previous FIFA games released.
