Respawn Entertainment have shared new gameplay clips of their upcoming VR shooter Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond. One of the clips shows the game's Survival Mode.
Several gameplay videos of the upcoming VR shooter Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond has been shared exclusively on Reddit. The gameplay shows some single-player missions but there's also a first look at the game's Survival Mode. All footage is spoiler-free.
"This is all single-player footage. I wasn't comfortable capturing multiplayer without letting everyone else know that they were being recorded, and I didn't want to disrupt anyone testing, etc," Oculus Studios' developer wrote in their post.
The gameplay looks pretty good - we did not notice any bugs and most of the time, the game runs without any hiccups or frame-rate drops, which is always nice. The developer explains that they've fixed bullet sponge enemies and the lack of physics in the environment.
You will be able to pick up a lot of things but not everything can be picked up.
One thing that looked really enjoyable is the game's Survival Mode, which basically sets you up against hordes of Nazi soldiers on a certain map. You can check that gameplay here. The developer explained that you can customize this experience with modifiers. Also, there are several different survival maps.
You can check out all six gameplay videos on the Oculus subreddit .
Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is officially out on December 11, 2020, for PC.
