Free Legendary Skins for Mirage, Wattson and Ash
Unlockable free Legendary skins for:
- Mirage
- Wattson
- Ash
These are a major part of the festivities. Available through completing anniversary challenges and progressing through event tracks. The skins have been designed with each Legends personality and playstyle in mind allowing players to individualise their favourites skins without spending a dollar.
Leaks from the community so far have displayed daring colour palettes and intricate designs making each skin easily distinguishable in-game. Check back daily and complete your missions to unlock them all.
Earn a Free Reactive Weapon Skin
Players will be able to earn a free reactive weapon skin as part of the event as well. Reactive skins change how they look based on how you perform during a match.
These skins often gain new effects after securing a kill or completing important actions.
What makes this reward special:
- Visual changes tied to in-game performance
- Unique energy effects not found on standard skins
- Earned entirely through event progression
This is probably the biggest free reward Respawn has given for an anniversary event.
Heirloom Shards in Anniversary Packs
Anniversary Event Packs sold to players contain Heirloom Shards within the rewards. Heirloom Shards can be redeemed in the Mythic Store and spent on unlocking an Heirloom of your choice.
Common Heirlooms consist of:
- Unique melee weapon skin
- Unique banners/poses
- Unique visual effects
The Heirloom Shard system allows players more choice over which Heirloom they receive.
Release Date
The Apex Legends 7th Anniversary Event will release on 10 February 2026 alongside Season 28 and its game updates.
