Xur is back at The Tower's hangar this week. The Exotic items on rotation include a couple of armour pieces and a rifle.
Xur is back and this week, he chose to set up shop at The Tower's hangar. For the uninitiated, you can find the hooded goodie guy if you go to The Tower, Courtyard spawn point. Open the map and click on Amanda Holliday to set the waypoint. Go to Holliday and turn left. Then, go straight until you reach the aircraft landing pad, with a catwalk on your left side. You'll bump into the man himself if you just walk up the stairs. The exact location is pictured below.
Now for the exotic items of the week:
Graviton Lance - while this Exotic used to terrorise people in PvP, has no falloff on its second shot and rips a hole through spacetime to boot, it is not a fast-firing pulse rifle. Given how fast-firing pulse rifles are currently the meta in the category, you'll get little to no use out of it at the moment. The one reason we'll give you to buy the Graviton Lance this week is so you don't get it from the Exotic Engram, in case you haven't unlocked it yet.
ST0MP-EE5 (Arc)- a good example of a great item to buy if you play a Hunter. The sprint speed increase this piece of leg armour provides will come in handy while playing PvP. The improved slide distance is nothing to scoff at either, especially if you're an avid shotgun user. The increased slide distance will also pair extremely well with shotguns that have Slideshot as you will be able to close the gap and load one or two shells in the chamber before blasting the opposing Guardian.
Transversive Steps (Arc)- the Warlock version of ST0MP-EE5 that has no impact on your slide distance. The item will, however, increase your movement speed and automatically reload all your Energy weapons, which is particularly useful if you don't like loading the shotguns up.
Ursa Furiosa - is the full name of Charlize Theron's character in Mad Max Fury road. At least it should be. The exotic gauntlets in Destiny 2 should serve you fairly well in some PvE situations, especially if you are used to blocking a lot of damage with Sentinel Shield. In PvP on the other hand, you'll be better off using the One-Eyed Mask. Xur was peddling some of those just last week, so if you missed it and are currently kicking yourself over it, check back with every now and again to prevent such problems from occurring in the future.
